Moving Image Gallery (MIG), a physical gallery at 414 Broadway, NYC, was founded by Doron Golan and Michele Thursz in 2000.
MIG was one of the first galleries to show contemporary artists using electronic and computer-based mediums. MIG gave first exhibitions to artists such as Cory Arcangel, Yael Kanarek, Paper Rad, Golan Levin, Andy Deck, Mark Napier. The gallery was in operation for over a year and produced over 15 shows and events, we ceased operations in the aftermath of 9/11.
